You will be responsible for day-to-day implementation and troubleshooting of the www.dothegreenthing.com website. You should be someone who lives and breathes their code, who understands that coding is a creative process, and who wants to use their skills to help the planet we live on. You will need hands-on coding experience with Ruby on Rails, XHTML, CSS, and MySQL. Bonus points awarded for other technologies, especially Flash! You should have a pragmatic approach to software development, with an understanding of agile tools and practices and how they contribute to a successful development strategy. You should have an eye for clean, usable, standards-compliant, cross-browser web design. Experience in creating graphics for the web is an advantage. Last but not least, you should have a deep connection with the Green Thing mission.
