We have immediate need for a highly qualified and experienced person to join our hard-working team developing web applications in Rails, PHP, Java and other technologies. Our shop has a Service side that develops custom applications for clients, and a Products side that develops our own applications.

This is a full-time contract position, with near-term opportunity to convert to full-time employee status with highly competitive compensation and benefits package.

You are often called "crackerjack" (or similar) by those who’ve worked with you; comfortable multi-tasking on a few projects at one time; and self-motivated, committed and reliable.

Command of the following technologies and programming paradigms required:

• Core areas of expertise: Ruby on Rails, Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP
• Java/JSP/J2EE a big plus
• HTML, XHTML, XML, and basic CSS
• Strong SQL
• Basic Apache directives
• Unix/Linux command line
• SVN
• OO Design Patterns
• MVC
• Enterprise multi-tier app development
• User Auth, Login, and Permission schemes
• Templating
