Experian is seeking an experienced front-end web developer to build mission-critical, high quality web applications for small business customer segments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for front-end technologies, especially XHTML, JavaScript and CSS. This position will be focused on the user experience for web applications, leveraging AJAX to create dynamic web pages. This role will also be responsible for applying experience and knowledge of usability to enhance the user experience. You will be required to support quick-turnaround efforts and work well in a fast-paced development environment.

Job Qualifications

• BS or BA degree, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education, training or work experience required. Advance degree helpful.
• 5+ years of development experience
• 2+ years using Java in the web tier (JSP and Servlets, Struts or Spring)
• Experience designing and implementing web applications employing AJAX, XHTML and CSS
• Strong, demonstrable understanding of standards-compliant coding practices
• Ability to deliver a consistent user experience across multiple web browsers
• Strong background in user interaction design for web-based applications
• Candidate must be able to effectively convey information and work well in a structured environment with other team members
• Experience with ATG, Offermatica and Interwoven TeamSite is a plus
• Great communication skills.
