The Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Senior User Experience Designer. As our only UX Designer, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of our product design and get to wear many hats, including: visual designer, interaction designer, information architect, brand manager, …. pretty much everything. This position will report directly to the VP of Product & Marketing and requires a driven and creative individual who enjoys collaborative problem solving in a small team environment.

The ideal candidate will be organized, agile, think strategically, pay great attention to detail, and most importantly – have a deep appreciation for simple, sleek, usable interfaces.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• You thrive in a small, fast-paced startup environment, you can change direction quickly, and you’re eager to learn new things as the need arises.
• You have 5+ years experience designing outstanding consumer facing websites as a key member of the design team.
• Proven ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centered design process.
• You are able to work well with a small / agile development team, and present ideas and designs effectively.
• You are self-motivated to prioritize and manage work load, and meet critical project milestones and deadlines.
• Familiar with current user experience and usability research, theories, best practices and methodologies.
• You must be a rock star in Photoshop and Fluent in HTML, CSS, and other web technologies with full knowledge of their capabilities and limitations.
