Inside Lacrosse is looking for an open-source web developer to help facilitate the response to our growing need for a powerful and dynamic web presence. This person will be responsible for helping to create and maintain the backend design, structure and functionality of all Inside Lacrosse online properties. This role will handle the development of all new web projects and will also be responsible for maintaining existing applications. Strong experience with data migration and CMS integration is desired.

Candidate will desire to work in a team-oriented environment with the art director and web designer to create effective web applications and functionality to our brand of web resources. The ability to multi-task and prioritize is essential to this role.

Successful candidate will have the ability to present creative ideas for technical challenges in which a “work-around” solution is needed. This role will help determine the best open-source solutions to use and their performance impact on internal equipment/systems.

Skills required include:

• Php/mysql
• Working knowledge of Coldfusion
• Ajax
• Relational databases
• Database management
• Complete knowledge of and ability to hand code HTML
• JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, ASP, RSS, XML, and/or Flash
• SEO best practices
