Zillow.com is the most trusted online real-estate valuation and listings website; millions of users use Zillow every day. To continue to be an impressionable leader in this space, and to help make the complexity of the real estate transaction more approachable, good user-centered design is imperative. To achieve this goal, we’ve built a multidisciplinary UX team bringing together design, development, and user research to deliver excellent user experiences.

Currently, this team is looking for a talented User Experience Designer to help drive this mission. This is a unique opportunity to build a world-class service and make business changing decisions that will directly impact the way consumers view one of their most important investments.

As a User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for creating visual interfaces and interaction models for our Web-based applications including: Prototyping & implementing the user interface, designing information architecture, wireframes, user flows & user interaction models. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, customer focused, self starter with 3-5 years of hands on web site design experience with the following qualifications:

• Interest in researching and developing new approaches to complex design problems
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has strong presentation & collaboration skills
• Proficiency in standard web design software and tools
• Flash, Illustration, Iconography and prototyping skills a plus
• A BA degree in Information Design, Graphic Arts, HCI or related field
