Freelance Javascript Developer at The New York Times R&D Lab

We are looking for a Javascript developer on a freelance basis to continue work on a BETA prototype within The New York Times Research & Development Lab. This should be someone that can either work in our offices in New York, or split their time between our offices and from their home/a private office. The candidate will be hired for a 4-6 month period. You should be a Javascript Ninja!, able to work closely with both our PHP/MySQL developer and front end designer (XHTML/CSS). Must have a working knowledge of jQuery, HTML, CSS, and JSON API’s. This project will include working on Web, iPhone browser and Adobe Air Apps.

Could possibly lead to a longer project and/or more work with the NYTimes R&D Lab.
