The Director of Corporate Web Management leads the creative team in the development and implementation of design concepts, graphic images, and branding of company products for web-based communications and promotions. In this position you will develop strategy and execution working closely with other business groups including sales, marketing, technology and business development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct the vision of the website
  • Develop, modify and execute company policies that affect immediate operations(s) that may also have company-wide effect
  • Establish operational objectives and work plans
  • Work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, as well as experience in a matrixed environment
  • Implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements
  • Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning specific functional areas, divisions, and/or customers
  • Define staffing and budget requirements for a web-creative organization
  • Manage the team in delivering day-to-day projects for both tactical creative and strategic architectural efforts

REQUIREMENTS

  • 7-10 years of increasing responsibility in a Web management role
  • Leadership experience in a high-pressure environment, preferably in an agency
  • A balance of design, technical and business skills for driving a successful eCommerce Web site
  • Demonstrable experience in optimizing a Web site for search engine performance
  • Proven ability to manage Web programs for driving traffic and improving time on site
  • Knowledgeable with various traffic tracking systems
  • Experience in designing and implementing community and/or blog capability on a site
  • Familiar with creating and managing partner portals
  • Strong design sense required
  • International experience and localization a plus
  • Strong experience using HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and Flash programming
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Must love working on a Mac
