Overview

JamBase is looking for a bright and talented User Interface Designer to work with our Product Development & Marketing Teams to develop new site designs and interface enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design and refine user experience in various elements of the website to achieve various goals
  • Create web user interfaces that work beautifully, seamlessly and intuitively
  • Develop and implement a rigorous multivariate testing process to optimize UI and goal conversion
  • Drive design ideas from conception to implementation
  • Quickly create and iterate wire-frames, work flows and design mock-ups
  • Coordinate on higher level design concepts, participate in design reviews and validate designs through testing
  • Stay current with emerging web technologies and trends

Skills Required

  • Photoshop, Illustrator (or equivalent graphic design software) & Dreamweaver expert a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of web standards, design principles and scaleable dynamic GUIs
  • Ability to understand, convey and design for the users perspective while meeting the project goals
  • Well organized with clear, effective communication skills
  • Able to handle multiple projects with a high attention to detail in a timely manner
  • Must feel comfortable in a team-based, entrepreneurial, and hard-working culture
  • Understanding of SEO best practices

This is a part time or contract-based position, not full time. Online work samples strongly encouraged.
