Do you have a passion for creating great cutting edge web projects? Do you love solving coding and design problems? ODA is looking for a front-end web developer to join our Interactive group.

Fast, Accurate hand-coding skills a must. The ability to quickly solve coding challenges while maintaining self-direction critical.

You will be responsible for quickly applying CSS/XHTML, DHTML, and Javascript to an array of web projects in a fast paced environment. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will be working with Interaction Designers, Visual Designers, Backend Developers, and Account Managers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop optimized/cross-platform front-end code in CSS/XHTML, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Develop functional prototypes to demonstrate concepts and to enable rapid iterative development.
• Collaborate with account managers, designers, and backend developers to refine the user experience.
• Collaborate with the interactive team to ensure that interactive techniques and technologies are innovative yet supportable.
• To connect with the user interface development community to track latest trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in launching successful interactive web sites/applications as a key member of a user experience team
• Fast, accurate handcoding skills
• Ability to self direct and problem solve
• Portfolio including a self-started web-based project or URL examples of recent work.
• At least three years of relevant web programming experience.
• A proven track record of launching interactive web sites/applications.
• Must demonstrate development skills across a range of technologies including: o CSS, HTML/XHTML/WAP o W3C DOM methods and properties o Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks
• Conversant in PHP, ASP, ColdFusion, MySQL, SQL

Nice to have:

• BS degree or higher, preferably in CS
• Actionscript capabilities
• Coldfusion .cfc development
• AJAX
• XML/XSLT
