Web Designer for great justice at The Open Planning Project

The Open Planning Project is a ‘dot-org,’ a non-profit tech incubator. We build open source software with high public value.

We are looking for a talented web designer to join our tight-knit design team. You will build intuitive, reliable (and beautiful) interfaces for tools that people really use.

Qualifications

- Portfolio that highlights your strong design sense. - Advanced (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript, Photoshop, Illustrator. - Fluid communication skills, and the ability to work directly with clients - Success taking a project from idea to prototype to go-live. - Passion for semantic markup, web standards, usability, and work that matters. - Self-motivated and organized. - Knowledge of micro-formats and other emerging standards, a big plus.
