As an application developer, you will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing the application layer of code.  Not only should you enjoy writing well-organized, highly-tested code, but you should also enjoy working with stakeholders to help design solutions.

Your responsibilities:
- Support application functionality by writing scalable, well-factored, and well-tested application-layer code
- Work with support teams to find and fix application bugs
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop design solutions

Requirements:
- 7+ years experience developing web applications
- 1+ years experience with Ruby on Rails
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and one or more UI libraries like jQuery, Prototype, YUI, etc
- Good test-writing skills
- Database proficiency (schema design and queries)
- CSS &amp; HTML proficiency
- Experience with Git or other version-control system 
- Experience working within Agile devlopment environments
- willingness to work in HAML and SASS.

Desirable:
- Experience with medical systems, social networks and data visualization.
- Experience working with IE 6,7,8 Firefox and Safari
- Linux, OS X Experience
- Team player.  Pirates, ninjas and rock stars need not apply.
- Experience with Rock Band, darts, or table tennis a plus.</description>
