We are now hiring a full-time software engineer focused on multimedia and mobile development, reporting to the CTO. REQUIRED: • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET programming and servers, including Visual Studio .NET • 3+ years experience with front-end web technologies - HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX • Video and digital media experience, experience with audio and video compression, media players, streaming content, and multimedia transcoding/format conversions • Experience in consumer based web applications with medium to high scale • Experience in database design and implementation. You should understand why one particular database schema is badly designed and another is well designed. • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university • Proactive hands-on, problem solver, comfortable in a start-up environment • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to successfully interact with technical and non-technical staff DESIRED: • Mobile development and testing experience (web apps and/or native apps) • Social networking and/or social media app development experience • Experience developing J2EE apps using both backend Java and web technologies • Excellent communication skills • Strong writing skills, including technical documentation, status reports, etc. To apply please send Resume, salary requirements, availability.
