Vision Critical 2009-10-29T22:53:39Z Vision Critical is looking for an energetic, dedicated interaction designer with usability testing experience. This is a great chance to join a growing IxD team that is working on innovative software products using some of the latest technologies. We are solving challenging interaction design problems, with the benefit of in-house problem domain experts. You will be a key member of the Interaction Design and Usability team, contributing to overall strategy and developing user-centred design processes. Responsibilities: Usability testing: recruiting, testing, reporting, and making design recommendations Interaction design: requirements contributions, design specifications, prototyping, working with developers Active participation in the IxD team: design reviews, process improvements, advocacy and communications. Requirements: 3+ years of related industry experience: user-centred design methods, demonstrated successes in interaction design Proficiency with software such as OmniGraffle and Photoshop Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams. Nice to haves: Experience with agile software development methodologies Knowledge of Silverlight/Expression Blend.
