We seek a Director of Frontend Development who will also effectively serve as our creative director. This person will oversee all creative and some conceptual aspects of our website development process, as well as art direction for many company projects. Strong design sense is an absolute must. The candidate should have 4+ years of experience developing websites in a creative capacity, as well as fluency with Photoshop, Flash, XHTML and CSS. Experience with JavaScript and ActionScript is preferred. Additionally, some familiarity with programming is helpful for interfacing with our backend developers. The candidate should have experience leading meetings, interacting with project managers to help define and refine product requirements, and should expect to produce pixel-perfect results quickly and efficiently. Excellent understanding of consumer internet and knowledge of current design tools, techniques and methodologies is essential.
